Overview
Inky-dark purple hue. A spiced nose of orange zest, clove, black pepper and kirsch, with ripe dark berries and fine oak beneath. The palate is concentrated, with high but well-judged extraction, plenty of fine tannins and a measured oak imprint. Butterscotch and smoke thread through layers of ripe black fruit, cassis and cherry, tobacco, and a long, voluptuous finish.
